CIO/Teething...
So Bella is waking at night sometimes 2-3x...Sometimes it seems just for the binkie, sometimes its hard to get her to go back to sleep...
On Saturday I notice to little tooth buds on the bottom (YAY!) but Lord knows when they are going to come through fully...
What should I do regarding letting her CIO for these wakings? I am afraid she is in pain from the teeth and I don't want to make her cry if she is...but these wakings are becoming a nightly routine that I want to break her out of...
What do I do???

Re: CIO/Teething...
Can you give her some tylenol before she goes to bed? or keep a binky or teethers in the crib that she can easily put into her mouth if she needs it?

comfort her put try not to pick her up. I usually give him tylenol before if I notice he has his fist in his mouth all day. I', sure it will not become a routine..I would comfort her, but I am a softie.

Re: CIO/Teething...
I have been doing the Tylenol thing before bed when I know she is really gnawing...
And we will try and give her some Hyland's Tablets late at night when she wakes up, it's just that once we go in there and spend more than 5 seconds with her, she wants up and out and starts screaming bloody murder
When do you just let her go and put herself back to sleep???

Re: CIO/Teething...
My doctor also recommended tylenol before she goes to bed if she seems to be in a lot of discomfort throughout the day. Also check with your pediatrician how much tylenol she should be getting. The dosage has changed a LOT since we were first told to give her .5 after shots way back when she was 2 months old. Now the doctor wants us giving Emily 1.25ml because she is 18 lbs. So what we were giving her probably wasn't doing much at all and it is pointless to give meds if they aren't even going to work.
I have also found that for EMily if I take her out of the crib it is so much harder to get her to go back to sleep. SO we give her the paci, rub her head and talk to her in a soft voice, give her the dolly that she likes and put the mobile on.
I hope she's feeling better soon!
