circumsision question
just a quick question for those of u who have circumsized ur child in the hospital. did u watch or do they do it right after birth when ur recouperating? not sure how it is supposed to be. thanks

My son's was done the day after he was born. My OB came back to the hosptial to do it, I didn't go to watch.

Same here. I had a c/s, so they did it on day 2 and I stayed in my room. He came back sound asleep

My son's was done the day he was suppose to come home (but he was in NICU so they probably had to wait until he was out of his little incubator). My OB said we'd probably not want to be around to watch so we left her alone to do the job.

thanks ladies. my friend asked if i was going to watch and i hadn't ever thought about it, but since we're going to get his done i figured i'd look into the process. I appreciate the info

OY! I wouldn't want to watch
DS was born on Thursday night, my OB came back to do it Friday morning. He came back to my room snoozing away about half hour later.
