city girls- bach party help please
we're planning a bach party for a friend in a couple weeks. all she said was that she wants to go dancing- we live in NJ, so don't get into the city all that much, but thought it would be fun to head in for this. she wants to dance- but we're not really "club" people- so maybe a fun bar with good, fun music live or not, doesn't really matter. any ideas??

I went to a really cool place last weekend called "Kama" It is a small louge- type of place that played GREAT music!!! I had a great time! Plus, you can reserve a seating area with those bed-like couches!!!
KAMA 43 West 21st bet 5th and 6th Ave. Located next door to DUVET...on the right.

LOTS of hip hop and reggae and spanish music (more towards the end of the night). They didn't play any house music. Its more of a hip hop/latin place

I went to Culture Club for my birthday a few years ago and it was sooo much fun!! They have two floors....80's music downstairs, and 90's upstairs
Webster Hall is also good, they have a few different rooms with all kinds of different types of music
