City help...directions

Ok...I have had to take the trains in the city in a while. Tomorrow...I have to go to Park Ave between 46th and 47th.

I am coming from NJ. Should I take the train into Penn Station...and take the subway to 42nd, then take the shuttle to Grand Central? Or...should I take the train into Hoboken...take the path to 34th Street and then the subway? What trains are near Park & 46th/47th?

Thanks much.

if you go in to penn, you can take the E over to 53rd & lex. either way, you'll prob have to walk the same distance.

Thanks much. Do you think that if my train gets into Penn Station at 10:35 am, I can make it to my interview at Park and 46th/47th by 11? Or should I take the earlier train...I just don't want to get there so early.

I would go to Grand Central and walk from there.

just to be safe i'd prob take the earlier train. esp bc its an interview, you dont want to be stressing that you'll be late.

I too would take the earlier train. The earlier you get there, the better. You can always relax and compose yourself in Starbucks if you get there very early. Thats what I used to do when interviewing.
