Clarisonic or Mia Users-----Question please
1--how long did it take for you to notice results?
2-what face wash do you use with it?
3-how often do you replace the brush?
TIA

Re: Clarisonic or Mia Users-----Question please
I've only been using it since december and it took a couple wks for my face to improve (although my face is bad right now) I've heard you should change the brush every months but clarisonic says every 3 months I think as for face wash I've been using the gentle hydro cleanser it came with. when I used my own cleanser it foamed too much and I didn't like it

Re: Clarisonic or Mia Users-----Question please
I noticed a major difference in my skin within about 2 weeks but it def felt softer right after the 1st use. My sister is in Plastic surgery so I use the facewash from her office, its like 5% benzoyl peroxide but I would say that any medicated facewash would be fine, I didnt like the ones that came with it. I have had mine for over a year and I have not replaced the brush yet. You shouldn't use it so hard on your face that the brushes wear out, its more the bacteria that would be the reason to change them and I just make sure that I run it well under HOT water and usually once a week I soak the brush in vinegar for a bit which will kill the bacteria. The brushes are not that cheap so I will not be replacing mine until I notice a breakdown in the functionality of it and I clean them well enough that they still look new.

I also wash my brush in very hot water and gentle soap after each use. I have had Clarisonic it for 4 yrs now, it came with 2 brushes and I used my first one for almost 3 yrs, but I only use the brush 1x a week, sometimes 1x every 2 weeks and take very good care of it as well. my dermatologist told me to not it every day, 1-2x a week is more than enough, and not to put to much pressure on a brush, do it very gently, not hard. my friend's dermatologist told her the same thing. Oh and I saw results after few uses (I started out using it every other day, 1 a day and then cut down)

after a week or so of consistent use i noticed a difference. i honestly haven't change the brush in months and it's still in pretty good condition. when i first started using it i used the stuff it came with. now i use philosophy purity with the clairsonic.

Same here ... I love using it. But I use mine almost ever day. I may cut down to every other now.

Ditto - I also use it with Cetaphil when I run out of Purity.
