Classes for Toddlers in Great Neck?
We'll be moving into Great Neck at the end of the month. My four year old has been enrolled in a camp, so I'm looking for classes to take my 1.5 year old daughter to. Any suggestions (or places to avoid?) I'm very interested in making stay at home mommy friends, so classes where there are friendly moms is just as important as fun for my daughter!

I don't live in Great Neck (though I used to), tand live nearby now. There is a Gymboree in Great Neck, though I have never been there. There is a program called Just Wee Two in Manhasset that I checked out this week. It's a Mommy and Me, and I thought it was quite good, though $$$. Music Together might have some classes also, I think the group that handles their classes is on this website:
whiletheyarelittle.com (or something similar to that). I've been to the class in Port Washington and liked it.
The library system there is good also, I would see if they have classes or playgroups.

There is a gymboree in great neck. There is also a music together in Great Neck (at the arts center) and Manhasset (congregational church). As another poster mentioned there is also just wee two in manhasset. I'm not sure about the Great Neck library but, the manhasset library has amazing programs and allows non-residents to register when there is availability. I have found that there are less nannys and more mommy's in the manhasset classes. I live in the area so please feel free to fm me

I don't think the Gymboree in Great Neck is there anymore.
Music Together is great though, and they have locations in Great Neck, Manhasset, and Port Washington.

i live in the area too, i do gymboree but in westubury, and the port washington lib, has great programs for kkis too. there is a little gym in port washington that i am thinking of joining went there today and liked what i saw.

Abby and I are taking a Music Together class at the Great Neck Arts Center this summer. Their summer catalog just came out and you can see it from their website.

the great neck arts center has a bunch of activities for toddlers.
Also - the gym in the waldbaums shopping center has a kids gym - called Dreamland gym.
