Why not check your local library to see if they have any activities/mommy and me things going on? Our local library does, but for the younger ones, it's usually morning stuff. Or you can take her to some open play places, like Once Upon a Treetop (that's in Plainview).

Thanks! I was doing classes at the library but they are not offering anything now. I am going to check out Once upon a treetop. A few people have recommended their open play.

There's got to be more then one person with a suggestion. I looked at the thread on open play places. I looked into some of the classes. Many are half way through for the season. Maybe I answered my own question with this post and there are no other options but I find that hard to believe.

DS is ten months and we took him to White Post Farms in Melville on Monday. It was perfect for him. They have an indoor petting zoo and a indoor train ride and a playground. If you sign up online you'll get coupons and admission will be $5 and babies are free.

Music Together...I know our class is mid session but another should be starting in April
Gymboree...they prorate your tuition based on when you join. The one by us has an 8 week mini session starting soon for about $160
Library is always good, if your library has various branches try them too....
Try free/trial classes
