Lovely decorated and neat room- is that carpeting?? Love it!

Yes, we have carpeting,which I love, and it is a large room, but it is an odd shape, I have a long diagonal wall, and then one wall is "fake" so you can hear everything!! (its the wall the comp. and library is on, with the curtain at the top)

Hi! I have a similar levelled/genre library with tons of baskets for Kindergarten, and with a lot of "training" and introducing hte baskets slowly, the books really do stay in the right places! I always have a few "librarians" who are responsible for checking the baskets. SOme teachers have a "return bin" that all read books go into and then the teacher sorts them out, but that's waaaay too much work for me!!

In my class the kids each have a clothespin with their name on it, so when they take a book from the library, the clip their pin on the basket, and then when they return the book they remember which basket it goes in!! It works really well until the clothespins start breaking from the kids squeezing them so much
