cleaning a makeup brush
how often are you supossed to clean a makeup brush... like one of the big ones that you use to apply powder foundation?!
i got grossed out this morning thinking about all the greese and grossness that is probably on the tip of my brush!!
also - how do you clean it? with regular soap? do you just srub it with your hands?

I have a foundation brush that I use everyday and clean every two weeks. I just clean it with a simple dish soap like dove or dial and warm water.

I clean mine once a month with philosophy's Purity face soap...
I used to use baby shampoo but found it puffed out the bristles too much.
Also, while wet, I mold them to the shape they're supposed to be and hang it off the edge of my vanity or stand it upright between things.

i'm pretty sure its man made
i cleaned it last night & let me tell you i almost threw up over all the nasty dirt & make up and came out of it!!  i couldnt believe that i was letting that touch my face lol
i'm thinking that may be the reason i have been breaking out more than usual lately
