cleaning aluminum siding?
how do you clean alum. siding..
i know you can't power wash or it chips paint..
is there like a light setting you can use soap/water with?
i dont want to ruin it but its dirty and driving me nuts...
in a year or so hopefully we can replace it with vinyl.. but gotta hold out for a bit
any advice greatly appreciated

2 summers ago we rented a powerwasher and used the most gentle nozzle it had to wash down our aluminum siding. We used just water and stood back quite a bit to minimize how hard the water was. It didn't damage it and it still looks fine. We are replacing it now as we've wanted to for 4 years but if it wasn't in the budget we'd still be able to get by on the aluminum siding that's up.
