cleaning coffee maker?
How do you clean your coffee maker? I have cleaned mine out 2 times with vinegar and water but I am still getting a burnt taste. Its gross. Should I just shop for a new one? The amt of $$ I have spent in the last 2 months on buying coffee I could have bought one by now. Also can you please recommend yours? Thanks.

Re: cleaning coffee maker?
what type of coffee maker do you have? a drip?
the burnt taste could be coming from the hot plate under the coffee pot being TOO hot... there should be an adjustment on how hot that gets...

Re: cleaning coffee maker?
There is a coffee pot cleaner called Dip-It. It is in a small square bottle like jet dry. You can buy it at the grocery store. You just brew a pot of coffee with it and then brew two pots of water to rinse and that burnt taste is gone.
