Cleaning Hard Wood Floors?
What do you ladies use to clean your floors. I have tried a steam mop and mop and glow and I am not thrilled with either....Everyone rants over the steam mop but I find it leaves a dull finish..Maybe I am using it wrong.
Please help I am tired of always having dirty floors...

2 things I use: For quick cleanups I love the Swiffer Wetjet with the hardwood floor cleaner. For deeper stuff, Bruce's hardwood floor cleaner is great!

I vacuum and then mop with Fabuloso..it's light and smells SO good! It retains the shine and our brand-new hardwood always looks brand-new! I'm not a fan of the Wetjet.

I use vinegar and water. It's the only thing I've found that doesn't dull the finish and makes them look brand new again. I have a wood floor mop-thingy that I use every week to clean the floors and once a month I clean the floors by hand with a soft rag. I got my microfiber mop at Wal Mart, but it's a little different than the one shown. the edges are elastic so it fits over the mop head instead of velcro attaching it. Hope this helps! I use the swiffer DUSTER only -
and then the steam mop
The swiffer thing that squirts the solution leaves a film on the floors

I use the wet jet for daily clean ups. People either love or hate the wet jet. I like it....it does what it needs to.
Then every week I do the old fashioned hands and knees cleaning and I use very hot water and a few teaspoons of white vinegar with a rag and wipe down each section.
Im very skeptical on using steam mops on wood floors....I use it for my tile only.

I use water and vinegar with a microfiber mop. It seems to do the trick.
