Cleaning lady question

For those of you who have a cleaning lady or even if you dont...do you think you should insist on them using your mop and vacuum cleaner if if they want to use their own?

It skeeves me out for some reason when they arrive with their own vacuum cleaner and mop which they have probably just used at another persons house and I am talking the real mop here not the swiffer...

I know this is not a major life problem but just wondering what you thought.

I don't blame you, they could have just mopped puke from the prior house...sorry to be gross!

We have had two different people clean our house on different occassions. The first crue came in and out in about an hour and used their own cleaning tools. We have a dog and ALWAYS use advantix and never have seen a flea. Well, after they left I found a flea and then never saw one again.

This other person came recently and she uses all of our cleaning products and tools. She did a much better job and I feel better about it too.

I need a new cleaning person though. We use a service and honestly, these are like the dumbest people ever-- they are the worst.

our cleaning lady uses her own.
we have an inexpensive vaccuum and she said that ours isnt so great, so she uses her own.

The vaccuum would bother me but the mop would. I would insist on using my mop

They use my mop but bring their own vaccum -- which is good because mine broke down recently and we still don't know how to use the new one!!

We just started using a cleaning woman, and she uses all of our stuff. I get skeeved by the thought of someone else's mop/vacuum being used in our house. What if they have fleas or something? They spread like wildfire.

Ok the flea thing is making me itch so I am going to insist that she uses our tools from now on ...she has only been here twice already so it should be easy to "train" her...I hope.

I make her use my things-I took her to the store to pick the products she prefered to use and I bought them, but they had to be brand new and she had to use my vacuum.

The last time I used one, she used all our products.

Actually when I called for quotes, they all told us they would use our products. Which I prefer also. I know what they are using on my tiles.
