Cleaning Product RAVE!
Anyone that knows me knows I have this weird thing with cleaning...I LOVE it!
But lately my biggest Pet Peeve with cleaning is mopping the floors. I HATE spending all that time scrubbing and scrubbing them just to walk across it with white socks and have the socks be dirty!
So one day I saw a commercial for Swiffer Wet Jet and they did the "sock test" I had to have it! They gave a link for a $5 off coupon for the starter kit, but it takes 6-8 weeks and come on...I want clean floors NOW! On the website they say the club starter kit is a better deal, so on our next trip to BJ's I bought it...(BJ's has a Swiffer starter kit coupon too!)
Anyway...today I used it and I'm soooo in LOVE! Being it was the first time I used it I had to change the "pad" 6 times, but I scrubbed until there was no dirt on the pad. I'm officially chucking my mop & bucket! Now...onto the bathroom!
And to the pet people...the Swiffer Wet Jet is NOT harmful to animals!
LINK
The only "weird" thing about it is the cleaning pads are like giant pad- pads....

Re: Cleaning Product RAVE!
I use the swiffer wet jet for a while --- maybe a year or two? I got it as soon as it came out for my classroom and loved it and got one for the house too. It's so easy and it does work really well.
ETA: Regular mops can get really nasty and germ-infested so I actually prefer this. I think it's a more sanitary way to clean the floor. You just throw away the stuff you used to clean --- much more sanitary IMO.

Re: Cleaning Product RAVE!
I thought I read an article that someone posted a long time ago about how the chemical in the wetjet is harmful to animals if they lick the floor.
Maybe I'm wrong...

I bought mine at BJ's (larger starter pack), but you can buy it almost anywhere. If you can wait, there's a coupon on the link I posted above, but 6-8 weeks was too long for me .
dm24angel is right...it is only an urban legend. (I made sure I posted that it was false in my original post because of all the animal lovers not to mention cute little kids on this board) Actually on the link it mentions it, but it's also on snopes, another urban legend board and the most reliable...the ASPCA's website.

I got mine in Target. They sell them EVERYWHERE though. Grocery stores, walmart, BJs...

They have different liquids for different floor types.
I bought it when it first came out like 2 years ago I think...I love it!
