cleaning question- what do use to clean your walls??
I have off white walls in my living room and kitchen. they need to be scrubbed down.. what type of cleaner do you use. I have paint that has a glass coat so they are easy to wipe but they need a good scrubbing- any ideas??

i don't wash my walls...I paint every year 
My great aunt and my mom used to swear by amonia and Murphy's Oil soap. they said it cleans EVERYTHING. But, I would test one tiny spot first, I don't know if the amonia would mess up your paint.

u r too funny.. i rent so i dont want to do that. i steam cleaned my carpets and since i have easy access to the walls i figured i would clean them..

I use the Mr. Clean magic erasers for things like scuff marks on my walls and they work great.

FYI - if you have colorful walls or eggshell finish don't use the magic eraser on them or it will leave oily marks.  I found this one out the hard way. The clorox wipes work really well though.

I found out by accident that Windex Multi Surface cleaner works really well. I was spraying the stove and some got on the wall.
