Cleaning Questions: How do you clean highchair straps and paymat floor tiles?

DD's highchair straps are just plain filthy. I don't even know how to go about cleaning them.

I have the Skip Hop floor tiles. Can I use a baby-safe all purpose cleaner on them? I know they must be so filthy and germy.

Any advice/feedback would be great.

The straps on my high chair I can pull through and throw them in the wash with the rest of her stuff...the mat I'm at a loss as well...sometimes I use a soapy washcloth and then use a regular washcloth and then dry it, but doesn't really seem to do much

For the highchair straps I always took them off and soaked them in hot water and soap. It worked great.

Not sure about the tiles!

I have the Skip Hop one too, and it's a pain with all the little parts. Cleaning the top is easy--I usually use soapy water on a cloth. But cleaning under it is a PITA.

I've put the high chair straps in both the dishwasher and the washing machine.
