Cleaning stroller question

Hi,

I scored a double jogging stroller at a yard sale today and I want to give it a really good clean. I have already sprayed method spray on it ( like the entire can!!!) and power washed it with the hose and its outside drying now. But I feel like I need to give it another round of something....I know I am a nut job but I have never bought something like this second hand before and I want to make sure its as clean as possible before putting the kiddies in there.

So what do you use if your kid throws up, or makes a total mess in your stroller.

Oh and I would like to use something "green" if possible.

Thanks SO much.

To be honest, sounds like you already thoroughly cleaned it.

Can you remove the fabric/seats? If you can, I would wash those in the machine with a baby detergent. And you can also use Clorox Anywhere Spray (disinfects without using bleach) on any parts that the baby would touch.

Re: Cleaning stroller question

i think you did a good job. if you want to be extra clean, i'd spray it with lysol and steam it. btw the heat of the steam and the antibacterials in the lysol it will be 10001% clean

Do you have a steam machine that you use to clean your home (floors, etc)? You can use that.

But to be 100% honest, I would NOT bother with that. The babies are not likely to be chewing on the seats themselves. Just make sure any of the plastic parts have been disinfected with Clorox Anywhere spray or another disinfectant.

Re: Cleaning stroller question

If you can't remove the fabric use Oxyclean and a scrub brush....then hose down . Take out the wheels and spray silicone spray (NOT WD40) to get them to move better. Vaseline and a cloth for the chassis. Mr Clean Magic eraser also takes marks off the chassis. If you can remove the canopy put it in the bathtub with the water filled and a dash of Tide and scrub.
