Cleaning the outside of Apt windows?

Has anyone ever tried to clean the outside of windows in an apartment? I'm on the 5th floor and the windows can't be tilted in or removed so I'm somewhat dumbfounded as to how to clean off the outside.

Normally I'm not that much of a clean freak but its been a year or two and its starting to gross me out.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think your building should take are of that if they aren't the tilt -in kind.

On my ones where the tilt in mechanism was broken, I take out the screen & reach around to get as much of the outside as I could reach.

i never really thought of that! I'm pretty sure they'll laugh it off but its worth a shot, thanks!
