cleaning the washing machine
we have had our front loading washing machine for about 8 yrs now,
i have recently noticed mildew on the rubber parts like where the door closes and on the inner lip part, i'm sure its been there for a while i just never paid attention or noticed it
i have used the tide washing machine cleaner to freshen it up but obviously that doesnt remove the mildew
any ideas on what i can do to clean this or is it a done deal and i need a new washer

or Tide sells a cleaner (in the laundry detergent aisle). You just run it through a cycle of hot water.
You can also use dishwasher detergent.

Ive filled mine w hot water and bleach, and scrubbed it with a new toilet brush

I do a wash with bleach then a wash with vinegar both with hot water

home depot sells tablets that are a washing machine cleanser i bought those and they worked great
