Clear Blue Easy OPK's

When do you ladies begin testing? Like how many days after AF leaves should I start testing? Each box has 7 test kits but I don't want to use them too soon or too late.

7 is not enough I buy 2 boxes. I start on CD 10...or you can buy the $1 OPKs and use those in the beginning and if you think you see a surge use the Clear Blue to confirm your surge. HTH Chat Icon

Re: Clear Blue Easy OPK's

I also start on CD 10. One box won't get you anywhere, esp if you have a long cycle & need to start at CD10.

Last month I started testing on CD10...got somewhat of a dark line on CD 24. I spent $$ on 3 kits.

ETA: I am not sure when I ovulate. That is why I start at CD10..this month I ovulated earlier than last.

Re: Clear Blue Easy OPK's

How long are your cycles usually? Mine are 28 days so I begin around CD10. The box should tell you when to start, based on the average numbers of days in your cycle.

Re: Clear Blue Easy OPK's

Thanks Ladies!!

My 1st cycle off BCP was 29 days and this month is my 2nd cycle. I am supposed to get AF this week-either Weds or Thurs. If she doesn't show up then she is late because I really don't think I am PG. But I'll take the average of those two months as my cycle for next month to start the OPK's.

I used my shortest cycle length and use the chart on the instructions to determine which day I should start testing.
