Climbing the great wall of Mommy and other new tricks!
Well, ladies, Cailen has hit THAT age.
the age every mother warned me about, when they stared enviously as he sat around like a veal in his bouncy seat, and said, "ooooohhh... I MISS those days!!!"
He is no longer the "piece of furniture" that my cousin said he was months ago.
There is no stopping him.
This is what Cailen does every minute:
- Climbs the great wall of mommy. You know that wall - when you think all you have to do is sit and use your legs as a barrier between baby and that holiest of all grails he is aiming for....
- The remote control shuffle - just when there is no more energy in that chubby little body to move one more inch, as soon as the remote control (or cordless phone, or cell phone) is juuuust within reach, then scoot scoot scoot - SCORE!!!!
- The wet baby wrestling match... right after the bath. Its like drying, diapering, and dressing a flounder....
- The great poopy butt escape. Done ONLY when theres a poopy diaper. Its a special flip move he reserves just for this special moment between us. When the diaper first comes off.
- The "ram my head into the ONE pointy part of the (insert object here)" rite of passage (self explanatory)
- The delightful baby laugh that he exudes when he watches my  look when he is about to lose a body part or an eyeball....
Just when I was beginning to understand why mommies choose to have more than one baby in their life, the question slowly creeps back into my mind.

Its all in the butt - I can measure the desire factor by observing how much the tushy is wiggling to get it!

We are in the SAME mode but I would not change it for the world
Mikayla has one more that she does
goes up to our fireplace and climbs onto it, gets on her knees and looks at herself in the fireplace doors, proceeds to fall backwards onto the carpet, looks at me and cries
repeat 3-4 times in a row
