Clingy at 1yr
DD went through a typical stranger anxiety stage a few months ago. She had gotten much better the last month or so but lately she seems to be turning into velcro again. Is it common to have phases of clinginess or is it possible to expose her to too many strangers to revert to her old ways?

Yeah a little over a month ago. At first it seemed like she was enjoying her new independence.

Ava was about as independent as a baby could get until just after a year old. She now needs constant reassurance throughout the day that we are there for her. I think it's totally normal. And I'm enjoying all of the snuggliness! I never got that with her before!
