Clinique makeup....
I have a ? can you return something to Macy's even though you didn't buy it there? I have something from Clinique & it was a gift I want to return it. Will they exchange it for something else??

I'm not sure but once I bought something from the MAC store and they gave me the wrong color on mistake. I tried to exchange it at Macy's. Stupid me told them I bought it at the store and they refused to do it. Luckily I was at Herald Square and they have 2 MAC counters. the second time, I left out where I bought it from and they took it no problem.
So my advice is...don't tell them that it wasn't bought there and it probably won't be an issue.

I think they will take it back, as an exchange though. I doubt you will get $ back. I would tell them it was purchased there.
