Clomid question
Hi Ladies. My DD was conceived on my fourth round of clomid and metformin. I am think about starting to try for #2. I have heard that you can only do a total of 6 months of clomid in a lifetime. Is this true? I did not hear if from a doctor but that would mean I only have 2 months left? TIA.

Clomid question
I believe there is a small increase in the risk of uterine cancer if you do more than 6 months of clomid. Not sure of the % increase or if it's statistically significant.
They also say if it doesn't work in 6 months, it's likely not to work, but in your case it did, so i'm not sure in your case. There are plenty of healthy women out there who have done more than 6 cycles of clomid.

Re: Clomid question
It's 6 months at a time. Clomid has a tendency to thin your lining so you don't want to use it more than 6 months. But, in reality, if you don't get pregnant from it after 3 months, I'd move onto something else, like injectables.

I'd try injectables + IUI before jumping from Clomid to IVF.
