clomid results
My next appt w/ Dr Rosenfeld at NSHU is on Th 4/30, we'll go over the results of the laproscopic surgery performed three weeks prior. The surgery was to have my Lft Fallopian tube removed b/c during my HSG itt was discovered it was blocked(hyrosalpinix) so DrR wanted to perform a salpingectomy, he went in and the tube appeared unblocked, but he found fibroids, he didn't specifically say where, how many/big etc.
My question is if suggests Clomid what results can we expect w/o combining clomid w/IUI? WIll I still have high possibility conceiving w/ just clomid?
What other fertility drugs are there?
What about the injectables?

I think they usually start with Clomid. IUIs level the playing field for people with fertility issues. It basically gives you the same odds as people without fertility issues who are trying to conceive naturally.

From a side effect POV, I wish I had skipped Clomid and gone straight to injectibles...but I did respond to Clomid with 1-3 follies. I took it for 4 months.

For me, I produced 4-5 mature follicles on Clomid both times I did it. (I also did IUI's with it, but others have chosen to just do the Clomid.) The injectables help you to produce more follicles. I didn't need the injectables because the Clomid worked so well and gave me enough follicles without injections. Some people who take just Clomid only get 2-3 follicles so the injectables will help boost that #. Aside from being a little tired, I didn't have any side effects from the Clomid (and just finished my 3rd round of it this week). I know others have had different side effects from Clomid.

Because he had to remove a tube, he may want to talk about a different course of action.
I'm not sure what the condition of your other tube is, but based on that - he may suggest IUI or IVF.
There are a lot of variables - I would honestly wait to speak to with your RE and find out what his idea is for a plan of action.
