closets or lack of closets
I was thinking of taking a closet out of one of our rooms.
The master bedroom closet took over the closet in the other room(a nice size walk in) The other room now has a closet that comes INTO the room.
I was thinking of taking that closet out so the room gets bigger. I have furniture to fill the wall space (it will be are guest room until we overflow with kids). I'm worried about the resale factor, but we don't plan on selling for a long time. Should we kill the closet?

Re: closets or lack of closets
I once heard that to technically consider a room a bedroom it has to have a closet. I'm not certain of that though. Other than that I think you should do what is best for your needs. Will you need that room to have a closet when you have children?

Re: closets or lack of closets
i personally think that closets arent too difficult to add/take out, so i woudl go with what you could use right now.
i had to do similar things with my house, which i know i will change in just a few years, but even for just the next few years it works really well for us!
