Clothes shopping for the next season

DS is 4.5 months and currently wears 6-9 or 6-12 months clothes (yeah, I know the kid can eat ). Is it worth it getting some clothes for the summer now? I don't know if he is going to stop growing and take it easy over the next few months or is going to continue to grow at this astronomical rate...

I think most children grow a lot between 0-6 months and then it slows down... ds has been in his 6-9 months pj's for about 3 months now.... I think it is time to go shopping for new ones cause he is outgrowing them... same thing with diapers, he has been in size 3 until recently...
