Clothing for Tall Skinny Babies?
DS has been outgrowing many of his clothes, mainly because they are getting snug in the crotch area. Most 0-3 month clothes are still loose on him elsewhere. I'm not sure what his exact length is now, but he is a long baby--he was 22.5 inches at birth.
Did anyone have trouble finding clothing to fit their DS or DD? What brands seemed to be cut longer in the torso? Carters seems to be the best I've found so far.
TIA!

Yes carter's clothes are good. I've found them to be very helpful. Try Gymboree, they are good too...
I have a skinny kid too and the smaller sizes are fine for his waist size but short in lengthwise. Then the bigger sizes are fine lengthwise (sometimes) but big around the waist. I use a belt.

DD is long and skinny too, at 4.5 months she's in 6-9 months for length and the rest swims on her. I find that Carter's has the best fit for her.
DH bought her a few things from Land's End at Sears. The onsies have 2 sets of snaps at the crotch for "as your baby grows". I haven't put them on her yet but when I do I'll let you know if it's as good as it looks.

Thank you!
Yes, I have the same problem. His clothes swim everywhere, but on his torso. I think he just grew a bit recently.

BRU carries a line called Mini Wear - I find that they are cut longer - the same thing is happening with DS and the Mini Wear onesies still fit. The Carter's ones are pretty good too. It's the Gerber ones that are getting tight in the crotch area.
