cloudy urine

I have been noticing the past few days that my urine has been very cloudy. I am almost 30 weeks. Any one else have this and is it normal?

Could be a sign of a UTI. I actually was just diagnosed with one yesterday. I did some research on it and supposedly it is very common with pregnant women and it is "silent" in the beginning, unlike if you weren't pregnant. I was shocked when the Dr. called and said that I had one b/c I've had them before and I know right away what it is, but this time, I had naseau, back pain......which I didn't immediately associate with a bladder infection. But, looking back on it, my urine was cloudy during the wkend and I was having to go more frequently.

Also, supposedly it's more common in the 3rd trimester and I'm almost 30 weeks.....

i have absolutely no other symproms, do u still think it could be a UTI?

we are actually due on the same day

Read about it online..... Also, when is your next Dr.'s appt.? Do you have to pee in a cup everytime? I do, and my last appt. was this past Thursday and that's actually how they caught it...... I just thought I was feeling awful b/c I assumed I should expect to feel that way in the 3rd trimester. At your next appt.....hopefully it's soon.....mention it to your Dr. and ask them to specifically check for it. Just so you know, it's not harmful to your baby, it's more harmful to you.....so no worries.....

That's hysterical we're due on the same day! It's a small world!!

Thanks...I read a bit about it online, so far I have no other symptoms just the cluody urine. Next DR appt is the 9th so it is a bit away. I might wait it out another day or 2 to see if any other symptoms occur. Thanks again

I have found that if I am the slightest bit dehydrated, I have cloudy urine. In fact, just about every prenatal appointment I've had, the nurse commented that my urine was cloudy....
