Clueless
Ladies, I feel silly and I don't know who to ask (we aren't telling anyone we are TTCing). You are usually a wealth of information SO here I go: We were just given the green light to TTC and I don't know what to do. LOL, ok I know what to do, but what else? My OBGYN told me to have sex every other day and on the first day of my next cycle to start testing using 'Clear Blue Easy Ovulation Kit' (the one that is $200 at CVS). So what else should I know, what else should I do?
A little background: unfortunately my husband was just diagnosed with prostate cancer. We have a small window (about 4 mths) to try and get pregnant before he starts treatment. We will be storing his sperm at a sperm bank for future use. Also I was never very regular to begin with. My OBGYN said normally she would have me track my cycle for a few months beforehand, but that isn't an option so I will test.
TIA

Re: Clueless
Just try to relax, follow the CBE monitor & enjoy the ttc process.
Also, start taking folic acid if you didn't already.
I used the CBE mon. along with that website americanbaby.com it tells you your highest fertility days. It is based upon a 28 day cycle, so if you are irregular it may not be accurate for you but take a look. I b'd on everyday for 4 days straight based upon the CBE and that website and and got my BFP.
Good luck, hope you graduate from here quickly!!!!!!!!
