clueless about the little things I need for baby

okay, so I think I have all the big stuff taken care of on my registry but I'm clueless about all the little things.

Do I register for them/just buy them? What do I need?

Things like baby wash, nail clippers, bottles? (If I'm planning on bf, do I still need bottles, how many, what size?)

wipes, lotion, ointment, etc?

I know I must be missing a thousand little things but what?

HELP, I am so clueless.

I would put them on your registry, and if you have any input on your shower, ask them to make sure that they do a wishing well.... u usually get a lot of the little things like you are talking about in the well...

That's one thing that I forgot to tell my mom to do, and I wound up having to buy all those little things myself, and trust me.... They add up!

ETA: I registered for the baby safety kit which took care of a lot of little things, but I also got another nail clipper, another hairbrush & comb set, I bought baby magic milk wash and lotion, i bought wipes and diapers myself, Vaseline, and when my mom comes she will be bringing me the other little lotions and diaper rash creams that I got at my shower - A&D and Desitin.

Yes, I would have on hand:

- nail clippers
- nail files (they sell little ones for baby that are easier to use than big ones)
- nasal aspirator
- wipes
- baby wash
- baby lotion
- we have A&D ointment for diaper rash, but have only had to use it two or three times thankfully.

Re: clueless about the little things I need for baby

I put them on my registry but didn't get everything. I put a grooming kit on there which I got - and that takes care of a lot of the little items. I also got lotions in a basket.

No one bought wipes, thermometer, pacifiers, etc. so I plan to hit Target once the changing table is assembled and I have room for what I need.

As far as bottles go, I plan to BF too so I just put a starter kit of the Playtex bottles and Dr. Browns.

"borrow" the nasal aspriator from the hospital. It's the only one I find really gets the boogies! :)
