CNA looking for work - help please
I cant believe I cant find a job. I need to work, Im so depressed. Ive applied to every NH and SNF and hospital within 20 miles of Babylon 31 applications not counting agencies. I have no experience. everyone wants 6 months to 2 yrs experience.
I actually started applying to hospitals last year before I started my pre-reqs for Unit Clerk etc.
Been a SAHM for 10 years and doing childcare in my home. I have an accounting background.
What do I do? Im still doing my pre-reqs. for RN.
Thanks.
ETA: Ive applied by 3 different ways - online, faxed and gone inperson to the HR dept. oh and also email.

Thanks, yes I tried that too, thats the agencies. They're asking for anywhere from 6 months to 2yrs experience.
same thing for doctors offices.
(*I am new to the medical field*)...but somebody's gotta gimme a start..right..

If you look on craigs list, there are lots of home care jobs NOT through an Agency, maybe you could do something like tht short term to get it on your resume, to facilitate your next break into a mainstream job.
I am a nursing student, and was thinking of doing something like this just to help my resume when the time comes for my job hunt.
