-- President Bush will announce this week plans to cut U.S. troops in Iraq by about 30,000 -- to pre-'surge' levels -- by next summer, a senior administration official confirms to CNN.

By next summer - so practically a year away and we should jump for joy? A lot can happen in a year and a lot of lives could/will be lost.
But, my prayers remain with our troops stationed in Iraq and I continue to hope they will come home soon.

Doesn't mean a damn thing. There are 169,000 troops over there. Bringing home 30,000 by next summer means nothing. He is going to drag this out until he leaves office and drop into the lap of the next president. He's a liar and a con-artist and should be prosecuted for war crimes.

I agree it is a start, but i think it's time to send them home now, not 30,000 of them...ALL OF THEM!!!President bush need's to step up to the plate now and say we are 'NOT' going to wait till next summer we are going to do it tomorrow, I say Action speaks louder than word's I will believe it when i see it!
