Co-Pay before your hospital stay?
I never experienced this before, I guess because I never had a planned hospital stay but they just called me to ask I bring my co-pay to the hospital when I go for pre-surgical testing tomorrow. Is this common?

I can't remember for mine. DH may have paid when I gave birth when he did the paperwork.
I would call my insurance to make sure.

I am just curious....because normally my co-pay request comes with an EOB. I guess it is one less thing to take care of after the baby comes!

Yep, we had to do it with Oxford. I believe it was $500.

Make sure to keep all co-pay receipts, payments, date of visits, all documents.
Some mommies experienced issues with hospital billing after they came home with the baby.
