go with the co-sleeper, especially if you are BF. My DS grew out of the bassinet in 5 weeks.

We used our Co-sleeper free standing, but it was fantastic and I recommend it highly! The kid was in it until he was about six months old! I can't wait to use it with my next one!

Bassinet --- a borrowed one. They're only in it for 3 months.

I used a pack-n-play with the bassinet top. I love it because we can take it with us to grandma's and she can sleep in it and it gives her a baby safe place to hang out in. I'll probably use it until she's about a year old.
