COBRA health coverage question....

if you are a family...can you select WHO gets coverage....like can we cover JUST the babies and not mom & dad to save some $$?

I think it may depend on the plan, but for my COBRA at least one parent (usually the worker entitled to the coverage) needs to cover themselves in order to add any Dependants. However I can cover just myself & DS if I need & leave DH off the COBRA.

Sorry, but you can't do this... I know you want to save money but it does not work like that...

First of all the baby is a minor, Second of all the person who you get the Cobra through is the primary person. They can choose single ( for them) or family coverage ( for the entire family)..
