Coffee Drinkers...

Does anyone here own a Tassimo or a Keurig single serve hot beverage maker (they used to just call them coffee makers )

I am considering buying one and need to know which one is more cost effective as far as buying the actual coffee..

also, if u own one or the other, can u make hot chocolate with it? hubby doesn't drink coffee and therefore doesn't see my need to spend that kind of money on a coffee machine.. but if i can get it to perculate hot chocolate.. his mind would change..

I have a tassimo, and my old job has a Keurig. They both make hot chocolate. You can buy the Keurig cups at Costco, though, so it is a little most cost effective

I have a Keurig and I am in love with it. I just buy off an ebay store or the internet, in bulk. Most sites also offer free shipping.

ETA: yes it makes yummy hot chocolate

I have the tassimo and love it. I get my discs at bed bath and beyond and use my 20% coupons all the time. I think with kuerig you get a bigger choice of flavors, not sure about that though.

oh.. man i was hoping everyone would say one of them sucked so it'd make my choice easier..

i think i am going for the tassimo.. target has one on sale right now..

I have Tassimo and I ♥♥♥ it!!!!!

I get the disks from Target and it's not that expensive.

my old job had the Keurig single serve & I loved it but we already had a coffee maker so I convinced my mil to get one. It makes a perfect cup of coffee every single time.

we have a keurig at home.
DH loves it! he's the only coffee drinker.
they also sell hot chocolate k-cups. i've tried them- they're pretty good!
i use it to quickly boil water for tea.

I have a Keurig. My parents bought it for us from Costco. I think the coffee is great! You can buy the k-cups online or at BBB, or you can use your own coffee. There is a hot cocoa k-cup too.

I have a Tassimo, but don't use it on a daily basis for coffee, I use my regular "coffee maker"

You can make, tea, coffee, espresso, cappuccino, and hot chocolate.

For me, it would be too $$$ to use everyday....and I am loyal to Chock Full o Nuts for my morning jolt, Tassimo doesn't make the pods....

I have a tassimo and I love it. Danielle loved the one we had so much, she and a bunch of the teachers she works with bought one for school.

Danielle's sister also has one and so does her mother. We all love our TAssimos.

It makes excellent coffee, latte's, cappucino, hot chocolate and Tea.

You can buy your pods at Target and also Bed bath and Beyond. They are cheaper at target. You can also buy them directly from the manufacturer.

We have the Keurig and LOVE it! It makes awesome coffee.
We use the pods as well as regular coffee like D&D. They sell a k cup that u can fill to make with regular grinds.

When I am in the mood I also make hot chocolate. They sell pods for it but I'm not a fan so I just use Keurigs hot water and put Swiss miss in my cup and wala! Hot Cocoa.

I have the Keurig and I love it - i go to bbb and use the 20 percent coupons
I got mine at BJ's and it was only 130 and came with like 70 of the k cups- totally worth it!!

We have a Tassimo and its great!! There is a huuuuuuuuuuuuge selection of coffee's, tea's, hot chocolate's, lattee's, expresso's to buy.

I have a Kuerig and our favorite coffee is the Caribou. I found it at macys the cheapest, $10 and if you get it on sale you can get an additional 15% off w/your Macys card. On the Keurig webstie I think its 13.95 per box so thats good savings!! I recently saw Green mountain (I wanna say at target?) but i don't know how much it was b/c we dont like the taste of that.
