Cold feet--literally
My feet are always cold. Not my hands...just my feet. Teasing me, Dh was like, "Do you have circulation problems?" It made me wonder...do I? How do I know? My last physical and blood work, everything was perfect. I don't have vein issues, etc. Vein as in vericose or whatever. I wonder???

Have you ever had your thyroid checked?

Re: Cold feet--literally
I always have cold feet. I cannot sleep without socks on, even in the summer. Some people are just like this. I think if you are young and healthy with no medical problems and no other signs of bad circulation to the feet than its probably not circulation problems. People that are older or have other health problems and have the same cold feet issue, it could be something.

Thanks! I get like that, though...I get a little hypochondriac-ish.

I also suffer from cold feet. I am super healthy, but I do have low blood pressure. I find wearing angora socks really helps.

Re: Cold feet--literally
Maybe get ski socks, they have metallic thread in them and keep your feet toasty. Maybe it is Raynauds?

I just looked that up. Funny. It mentions spasms. I don't get them to the extent it mentions...with the swelling and feet turning red, but sometimes in yoga if I dive right in and my feet are cold, I get a charlie horse-type cramp in my toe. But I assume that's because my feet haven't caught up to my body in terms of the workout and they're still cold. But that's happened to me for years with no consequence.

Re: Cold feet--literally
my grandmother has Raynauds and trust me, it's much more severe than just cold feet. her hands and feet swell and turn bright blue at times and it's very painful.
