Cold or Teething......
Again, Paige has a runny/stuffy nose. She had this not too long ago and the doctor told me that it is teething. At the time, I didnt believe him becaue she had a mucousy cough. It got better.. and now a week or so later she has it again. Now, im thinking that it might be teething related because when she was sick a couple of weeks ago none of us got sick.
So what do you girls think?
Did anyone's DC go through the same thing. Her top teeth dont look like they are ready to pop through, so im confused. Is it possible for her to get sick like this????

Re: Cold or Teething......
I would say its a cold..my son is teething but he just developed a runny nose, and a mucousy cough...which he got from his sister..the DR office said it is going around.

Re: Cold or Teething......
For me, it's been so hard to tell. My DS is in daycare and have picked up a lot of colds in his short life . He currently has his two bottom teeth and one of the top ones just popped through last week.
When the bottom teeth came in, there was nothing like that. However, before the top one broke through, he was coughing a lot, and he also seemed to be over the cold. So maybe it was the teething.
I think that now the second top one is on its way, and he's got a running nose and cough-- so maybe that too is teething. Or it's another daycare cold It's really so hard to tell.
Sorry this doesn't really answer the question. I'm just as confused as you are.
