Cold Sore - sorry if TMI
I have a tingly bump on my lip - not where my face 'meets' my lip, but fully on my actual lip. Could this be a cold sore or a fever blister? I've only ever heard of them being 'on top' of the lip, not actually on it (a couple of millimeters down on the lip) so I was confused if it could actually be a cold sore or fever blister, or if it is something else. It's not in my mouth, so I dont think its a canker sore, it also doesnt look like a canker sore.
Thanks.

Sounds like a cold sore, if you can get some abreva and put it on now as long as no bump has formed you might be able to head it off before it comes out.

I agree - sounds like a cold sore. Abreva works for me too and I try to keep one in my bag. If you can get something for it soon and put it on - you might be able to reduce the severity of it.

Thanks - its just weird, all of the cold sores I've ever had have been more on the skin/lip junction not on the lip itself.

Definately get some Abreva. I would also recommend taking Lysene tablets. The combo really hurts.
You would be surprised where you can get a coldsore, I got one on the side of my nose!!!!! It was awful.
