cole slaw

i bought bagged cole slaw but it doesnt come with the "dressing".... any ideas how to make a yummy dressing?

Mayo, vinegar, sugar, s&p.

Trader Joe's has bagged organic broccoli slaw w/o dressing. I added mayo, honey, black pepper, raisins and chopped walnuts. It was so good!

this dressing is great:

1 cup mayo
1/2 cup vinegar (i do 1/4th cup red wine vinegar and 1/4th cup white wine vinegar mix)
1 heaping tablespoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
black pepper

**and it is even greater when you add crumbled blue cheese- it becomes blue cheese coleslaw and it is sooo good. I use 1/2 cup blue cheese. but the dressing is good even if the blue cheese is omitted.


I also like asian coleslaw dressing. I use a tablespoon of sesame oil, 1/4th cup vegetable oil... and then you mix in the seasoning packet of an oriental ramen noodles package. So delicious.

i make a chipotle ranch slaw to go on fish tacos ( i actually started using the broccoli slaw mix, but its great on either!)

I don't measure....

a few TBS light sour cream
lime juice
a few large squirts ranch dressing
tbs honey
sprinkle old bay seasoning
black pepper
chili powder
chipotle chili powder
sprinkle of ground cumin

its delish!!!!! spices are to your own taste!
