Colin's 1st Birthday Party (w/ pics and reviews) (better late then never!!)
Yeah, yeah - so he's 13 1/2 mos old and the party was 5 weeks ago  Very very late but we had a great time, he was a trooper and a half the entire day!
Colin had two parties - first was a kids party at My Gym in Plainview (thank you Cheryl  ). To quote the fabulous DJ Lance Rock, It Was Awesome! Such a great place. They do everything for you, it was clean and big and they really catered to the 'crowd' I've been to some parties where it's 16 year olds running them and they do what they always do - no matter if the kids are 1 or 7. This was run by the owner and another adult worker and they really were fantastic with the kids. They also have a minimum of 12 whereas a number of other places I looked was minimum of 15-20. Highly Recommended!!

The kids favors were an enormous hit because, as usual, Val (Do Me a Favor) hit the nail on the head. The other parents couldn't believe that I got to select the theme for each kid! And they all came out great (I especially loved her Brobbee ). Another Highly Recommended!!

We then had our immediate families back to our apartment for Colin's 'after-party'. We got the food from the local pizza place - amazing as usual (Center Pizza, if anyone lives in the Little Neck area). After dinner we had the pleasure of eating the cutest and most delicious cake(sssss) ever!! We used a wonderful unknown baker, Lily Cakes. The site is under construction but you can find the contact information there. As you can see from the pics, our Moose A Moose and Zee cakes were PERFECT! Yet another Highly Recommended!!

OMG Eileen, he is SUCH a big boy!! I am so glad he had fun on his birthday and you were happy with the place! Sooo Sooo cute!
