College credits
Anyone have info on college credit at Suffolk Community? I was told by someone that you can take a test and if you pass it, you get the credit without having to take the course. Is this true? Anyone know anything about this?

I do believe that is true, you can take a challenge test to elimiate taking the actual class. I think I did it for a Math class back in 2006, but I kind of forget now...sorry. I did not think I got actual credits counted, but it enabled me not to take that specific class.

It's called a CLEP test, you can take them at a lot of places. I took college algebra and it was easy!

they also have clep study books at the library. from what i remember i think you have to pay for the test.

You have to go to the test sites so that you can be monitored while you take the test. If you could do them online anyone could cheat and get the credit.
