color help from my knitting buddies
I won a knitting basket at a raffle and on the yarn they actually have something I would like to make.
now the basket came with 4 coordinating colros brown, rust, orange and cream - I really like the colors, but how would I use these colors? stripes? how big? equal? uneven?
or just go out and find another color to do solid?
also - I have a long torso - I can just knit until I feel it's long enough for me?

How much yarn does the sweater call for, and how much of each color do you have?

I would knit that sweater in one color. How many balls of yarn does it call for? Maybe you can contact the knitting store the basket came from and purchase the additional balls. (Or maybe they would even exchange some of them for the color that you want.) Just make sure that all the balls have the same die lot # on them.

it calls for 11-17 oz. I have actually 5 colors (5 oz each - except for 2-5oz in cream)
I think it might be easier to do all one color first. Maybe if I perfect the sweater I will try it with stripes?
