Color suggestions
For a bedroom. We have a silver headboard/footboard and want to get dark espresso or even black furniture. What color paint would look nice?

Re: Color suggestions
I always like a mocha/latte type of color with dark wood. You could also go with a warm color like a burnt orange to offset the cool tones in the furniture

Re: Color suggestions
A warm blue - I don't know what you'd call the color - maybe a stormy blue?

Re: Color suggestions
I'd go with a grey-blue type of color. Something with cool undertones.

Re: Color suggestions
I am going with espresso furniture. I am thinking of light green with a ton of white molding. I love how the black furniture pops and looks so strong against lighter colors.
I love this bed, but I am not sold on the beige walls

Re: Color suggestions
I have expresso furniture with matte silver hardware. I have a cool blue (almost like Tiffany color) comforter on the bed that has a faint grey thread running in a swirly line on it. I'm thinking of painting the room a light silvery grey with a light blue hue. Haven't really found a color yet. Or maybe a cool blue with a grey wash over it? I think the cool colors look best with the espresso furniture.

Re: Color suggestions
I saw this done for a bedroom make-over on a HGTV show this weekend. They used a light aqua blue with dark furniture and a "mango" colored floor.
I have a great blue color in our bathroom. It's BM Soft Chinchilla and I think that is pretty close to the color they used - kind of a blue-grey.

Re: Color suggestions
I think you should also evaluate the size of the room. Dark colored furniture in a small room needs to have light colored walls.

I agree my nephew has black furniture and my sister did his room a grey blue and it looks great.
