Colposcopy w/Biopsy during PG

Why did you have it?

How far a long were you?

Cramps?

Bleeding?

I had a normal PAP smear in Oct which was normal and I was told to come back for my yearly..then when I got PG he did another one in January and it came back abnormal..He wants to do the Colpo and then the biopsy if necessary...I personally dont want to have any chunks taken out of my cervix right now!!!

I had the same thing happen at about 17/18 weeks (?) and I only had a colposcopy. When he did that they didn't find anything wrong, so thankfully there was no need for a biopsy. I was DREADING having the biopsy cuz I've had them before and it's no picnic.

Hopefully you'll have the same and when they do the colposcopy they'll find nothing.

With everything changing in your body it's very likely that's why you had the abnormal pap. It's happens and there may be no need for a biopsy.
