What kind of dress should I wear? The ceremony will be outside as long as the weather holds. Im clueless as to what type of dress I should wear!
ETA: Is a strapless or sleeveless dress appropriate for an early October wedding?

I wore a halter dress to my good friend (aliwnec10's) wedding at Gurneys
I think you'll be fine. Definitely bring a wrap or something to wear in case it is chilly.

Thanks! I actually have a halter dress that might be good! I'm just not sure how formal the wedding is going to be ya know? Plus, its on the beach and I've never been to a beach wedding before. Thanks for your help!

I think either strapless or sleeveless would be fine as far as "appropriate" goes - you just might get cold.
