Coming Home Outfit What Size?
Did you get newborn or 0-3 months?
I'm due in June so I was thinking about a long sleeve outfit.
What is everyone else doing?

i thought DS was going to be huge so i brought a 0-3 month outfit (pants, a onesie and a light jacket)
he was tiny (less than 7 lbs when we left the hospital) and he was swimming in that outfit!
so i would bring one of each 
ETA: DS was born september 5th but it was very warm out when we brought him home on the 8th.

I had an April baby.
I had bought NB size and she ended up being a little under 6lbs, so nothing fit.
My mom bought her preemie size 
She was tiny.
I think NB is a safe size to get and def long sleeves.
ETA: My other suggestion, places like Gap do sizes below NB, Up to 7lbs.
So does Childrens Place.

I am unsure what the baby will come home in. I may use one of the neutral outfits I have received already. I got one of those outfits with a hat, onesie, pants and a little jacket that would work great. Still undecided though.
I will prbbably make sure it has long sleeves though because of air conditioning concerns.
As for the size, I may do newborn.

I have a few newborn outfits that I could use, but I also have one preemie outfit, just in case he is too small.

DS was 8 lbs 1 oz when he was born and the NB clothes were big on him. He wore NB outfits for about 5 weeks. I'd get a NB outfit. You could always bring a 0-3 month outfit along just in case.

All my BTDT mama friends say that if you want it to really fit, buy a preemie size for the take home outfit.

as small as my #1 was, preemie would have been too small! i vote NB for take home--it will fit approx 6-10 pounds. most babies are in that range. 0-3 is HUGE compared to NB!

I will be getting a NB & 0-3. We are hitting up the outlets in PA this weekend, so I might even get a premie outfit to be on the safe side.

i'm going with a newborn outfit. When I had my DD i brought a newborn outfit and it was still swimming on her since she was so tiny and i wound up putting her in premie clothes for about a month.

DD was 6lbs 11oz at birth and 6lbs 2oz when we went home. I put her in a NB outfit and it was huge on her!

my DH never wore NB sizes either when he was a baby. He was 9lbs. at birth and went straight into 0-3 month sizes.
