Coming Home Outfits- size

Are you bringing a size newborn outfit or are you bringing a 0-3 month outfit to the hospital?

Re: Coming Home Outfits- size

I brought both.......Ava needed the 0-3 and the 0-3 was too big for Jack.

Although with Ava we never even dressed her to come home - she came home in the hospital onesie and a hat Chat Icon

What I did was I had a Newborn Outfit for a boy and a girl (we didn't know what we were having) and I had a 0-3 outfit for a boy or girl and then the day she was coming home - I told DH what outfit to bring up to the hospital

I guess I will need to buy 4 outfits instead of 2 now! Thanks of the tip! Chat Icon

Sorry Chat Icon
Actually it was my mom that bought them cause I wasn't really supposed to be going out towards the end of my pregnancy, so she picked out 4 outfits and that worked for us Chat Icon

Re: Coming Home Outfits- size

I brought newborn and it was HUGE. Really huge. She really needed a preemie one. Unless your baby is measuring pretty big, I wouldn't bring a 0-3 mos.

My MIL gave us 2 newborn outfits that I am bringing with us to the hospital. (they are the only newborns outfits we have) If baby comes later...rather than sooner (please no)...I'll just tell my DH to grab a 0-3....

Re: Coming Home Outfits- size

Jules needed a newborn outfit but I had bought a 0-3 beacsue I didn't know anything about sizing at that point... but this one will most likely need 0-3. So I just bought 0-3.
