I've posted before how my cat had been over grooming herself, being extreamly needy etc....and certainly not for lack of attention from me, as I'm constantly playing with her (I even get up a little earlier in the mornings to play with her before work). Her and DH basically ignored eachother, but DH has been wonderful by giving her his attention and playing with her and we seemed to be doing much better. All her fur on her belly and hind legs have grown back.

Now, she won't stop licking the back of one of her hind legs, and she keeps biting at her joint on one of her hind legs. Everything is so raw and bleeds a little from time to time. It's like she waits for it to heal then goes at it. She also had a problem a while ago with the fur missing from her upper lip, well now I noticed this morning, that one side of her upper lip is getting red again, AND she's been biting at one of the pads on her back foot, so that is also getting raw.

I've purchased Feliaway and have sprayed it around the baseboards in the house as well as getting the diffuser in the room she spends the most time in. And I really don't want to have to put her on anti-depressants (which my vet said it may have come to that). And a collar to keep her from licking is out of the question because she really freaks out and stresses herself more. Another cat is out of the question, as she is very needy and jealous when it comes to my attention and she would not fare well with having to share it with another pet.

I just really don't know what else to do for her, other than quit my job and be a SAHM for her.

Any advice?
